It’s already got significant market share in Europe, serving more than 400 brands in 11 countries. Selligent offices are based in Belgium (headquarters), The Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
A quote from the Selligent CEO, André Lejeune:

“Selligent is very committed to providing marketing professionals with the most integrated marketing campaign automation and we believe this inclusion in the Magic Quadrant, combined with the massive growth we achieved in 2012, puts us in a good position to develop our business worldwide.”

Selligent is sponsoring this week’s IMW conference in New York, the Integrated Marketing Week to reach american CMOs and marketing agencies. Selligent expanding to US territories will mean a step into a market already filled with quite some marketing automation companies. Among these are Silverpop, ExactTarget, Marketo and Eloqua, but many more smaller and larger companies exist offering marketing automation platforms and/or services.
Selligent currently has 180 employees based in the aforementioned countries. Selligent’s platform is set up to handle a combination of email and other channel campaigns. Combined with a simple pricing model, the company believes it has a strong position in the new market.
