Emma email marketing has acquired the digital marketing solution provider Boomerang.
Boomerang’s customers will now have access to the Emma email marketing platform. This includes its deep integration with Salesforce.com.
Boomerang offers email, social and event marketing, catering to the same market segment as email marketing providers like MailChimp and Campaign Monitor.
Last year, Emma saw a 50 percent employee growth, and this year it’s focusing on more growth for its business. This includes expanding its business internationally, and enhancing its automation product. The fact that Emma email marketing acquires Boomerang is just one more sign of its continued expansion.
Quoting Boomerang CEO Dave Kearney:
“A large percentage of our customers rely heavily on our integration with Salesforce.com, so Emma and its integration set was the obvious choice for our users,” said Dave Kearney, CEO of Boomerang. “Because of the company’s technology, product experience and customer service, we knew our customers would be taken care of at Emma.”
In total, Emma email marketing now has 150 employees across 4 U.S. cities. Its first international office was recently opened in Melbourne, Australia.
Emma will be hosting its first three-day conference this year called Marketing United, from April 29th – May 1st in Nashville.
