Knotice has launched a new tool called Knotice Mobile View. It allows you to get insight into the devices people use to open your emails. Best of all, it’s free: you can set up an account here. The Knotice Mobile View tool allows you to view single views or multiple cross device views.
For marketers wondering whether or not their audience is active on a varied array of devices, this might just be the tool to get at least some basic insight.

Litmus Email Analytics has a rival(ish) in Knotice Mobile View
The tool resembles the functionality of Litmus Email Analytics, which offers similar (though more extensive) functionality. The Email Analytics tool from Litmus offers the read time as well, as well as times forwarded and times printed information. Furthermore, Litmus is able to determine separate email clients (several thousand unique ones, apparently) while the Knotice Mobile View tool only makes a difference between tablet, desktop and phone.
Just like with Litmus Email Analytics, the tool from Knotice works with pasting in a separate code snippet into the HTML of your email campaign.
