Retailers want to show their wares, obviously. Great photography helps in that case: presenting your products in an attractive way does awesome stuff for results. But great photography is not the only way to make email marketing attractive: there are other graphical ways to represent your products. This time an email from Igigi caught my eye which shows a fashion designer-like sketch of the Jacqueline dress. See the email below:
Subject line: Summer friendly fabric, ruffles, & an invigorating blue hue all-in-1 easy to wear dress – The Jaqueline Dress
Winning points:
– KISS principle: no distracting prices, other imagery or whatnot: just a simple header and footer, the sketch graphic and the name.
– Promoting extras: just below the pre-header Yuliya (the owner) is promoted regarding a tour of the IGIGI HQ with Marie Denee.
– While being a long subject line at no less than 109 characters, it does invite to click through: very descriptive and tempting.
All in all an attractive email which shows photography isn’t the only option in the graphical toolbox to present products in email marketing.
